CHOOSING A PRACTITIONER
Each Practitioner is happy to discuss with you your personal requirements. If they are not able to offer expertise in the area you require they will suggest an alternative practitioner.

When contacting a practitioner, questions to ask include:

  • What hours are you available?
  • What are your fees?
(Fees quoted are usually on the basis of an hourly rate and vary between practitioners.
Most fees quoted will include GST. Check this with the practitioner.)
  • What is your cancellation policy?
  • What is your profession?
  • What experience do you have in this area?
  • What is your approach to this problem?
  • How long is therapy expected to take?

At Auckland Psychology we encourage our future clients to feel free to ask questions while making an appointment. This is our first contact with each other. On phoning a practitioner you may get an answer phone. Please leave a message. Your call is important to us and we endeavor to return calls as soon as possible.
